Steve Sanders

Steve began his involvement in St. Louis Bible Quizzing in 1994, along with his wife of 43 years, Sandy. He first started out coaching but quickly decided he enjoyed being a “QUIZ MASTER” and helping to assist on the administrative side. 

In 2014, he was asked by our founder, Tim Ward, to take over the position of Director. He has held this position from 2014 to the present. 

Steve graduated from Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi in 1981, with a BA in Electrical Engineering. In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time with family (10 children and 15 grandchildren!) and friends. He also enjoys reading, hunting, fishing, and relaxing out on the family farm. 

Steve is warm, kind, funny, and steeped in God’s word daily — all the while remaining humble and always giving the glory to God. We like to say “To know him is to love him”…
