Jake Olejnicak

Jake first got involved with quizzing in 1994 through St. Louis Teens for Christ, a youth ministry to junior and senior high students. He also met Suzy, his future wife, at St. Louis Teens for Christ. He married Suzy, one of the original By Faith bible quiz team members, in 2000. He began coaching quizzing in 2017.

Jake and Suzy understand that God calls us to worship Him through the Word, fellowship, and service. Because of this, they have served faithfully over the years in bible quizzing and several other ministries in and out of their church, Liberty Church in O’Fallon, MO. They are blessed with four sons spread over nine years, and a daughter-in-law. Their family loves to play board games, party games, strategy games, video games and, of course, classic kids games. They also hike, read, enjoy the company of friends and family, and like to learn about science and history.

Jake is a graduate of the Missouri University of Science & Technology (formerly UMR, or just Rolla). He is employed as a Manager of R&D at Emerson Electric in St. Louis, MO.
